Call for Papers and Panel Submissions

“Transoceanic Cooperation and Integration between 
Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Oceania”

You are cordially invited to submit your abstracts/proposals for Individual Papers and Panel Discussion for the 8^th biennial conference of CELAO to be held from the 9  to 11 November 2018 at the University of Macau in Macau S. A. R., China. The 8^th International Conference of CELAO aims to gather academics and intellectuals around the world to share their knowledge and experiences in relation to the general theme of the conference “Transoceanic Cooperation and Integration between Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Oceania”. Papers are encouraged to be focused on the general theme and the suggested topics under the 10 pillars stated in the “General Theme and Pillars” . Papers on other subjects related to the objectives of the conference are also welcome.

§     Each presenter will participate in a maximum of 2 presentations.

§     Papers in English, Spanish and Portuguese will be accepted.

§     Presentations (Individual and Panels) will be conducted in English / Spanish / Portuguese with no simultaneous interpretation.

§    Abstracts should be submitted on or before the 30 September 2018 by email to the Conference Secretariat.

§    Final panels and themed sessions will be announced on 12 October 2018.

§    Authors of the submitted abstracts for presentation must also make separate registration for the Conference by filling in the Registration Form.

§    Submission of abstracts doesn't include official registration for the Conference. If the abstract is submitted by two authors, both authors must make the official registration.

§    All the accepted abstracts will be eligible to be presented at the conference. Presenters should register on or before the final registration deadline.

§    Presenters will make their own travel and accommodation arrangements (List of accommodation options will be available in the next circular).

§   Detailed program of the Keynote Speeches, Social and Cultural Activities will be posted on our website in due time.
